The University has a long-standing partnership with Vocational Training Council, who are the largest vocational training and professional education providers in Hong Kong. The VTC network’s School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) partners with western universities to provide local students with the opportunity to gain a bachelor’s degree without leaving Hong Kong.

Since February 2023, recruitment activities – led by Link Tutor Matt Dixon – have taken place in Hong Kong to promote the School’s Health & Exercise Science (HES) final year as a top-up degree.  The top-up degree contains four final year modules from the HES programme (Community Health Development, Personal Training, Advanced Sport & Exercise Nutrition and Dissertation).

For UK students interested in the opportunity to engage remotely with Hong Kong students within a module specific or cultural exchange context, please contact Matt Dixon (mdixon@lincoln.ac.uk). Expressions of interest are also welcome from UK final-year students studying any of modules mentioned above who would like to provide peer-learning support to Hong Kong students.
